£12.00 - Monday to Saturday 42.75 + hours
£16.00 - All hours Sunday

Catering Butcher

Hours of Work: 07:00 – 16:30 (flexibility is a must)

Rate of pay: £8 – £8.50 (depending on experience and results of a block test­)

A great opportunity has arisen for Catering Butchers to join a well-established company based in Whitefield, Greater Manchester. The Company Group are the World’s biggest pork manufactures and processors in the UK and Europe. At the same time the company are a significant player on Europe’s beef market with an annual revenue of over 120 million pounds and 26,000 employees worldwide.

The Role involves (but it is not limited to):

  • Cut, bone, or grind pieces of meat.
  • Cut or prepare meats to specification or customer’s orders – please note that portion control skills to reduce a yield are critical for this position.
  • Making sausages.
  • Sharpen and adjust cutting equipment.
  • Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery.

Please note that the position will start on temporary basis but it can lead to permanent employment for the right candidate due to ongoing business developments.
